The Waster Water Treatment Facility of the City of Forest processes approximately 2.4 million gallons daily. Located on Highway 21, the 40 acre facility includes mechanical operations and anaerobic lagoons involved in the treatment and processing of waste water. A staff of eight oversees the operation of the facility with daily sampling and quality testing. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
