WATER WELLS

The Water Well Department of the City of Forest is responsible for the maintenance, testing and high quality portable water for the seven water wells located in the City of Forest. This department is also responsible for the ten lift stations located throughout our community which are inspected daily.

All operators must be certified by the Mississippi Department of Health. This requirement is achieved by attending classes and passing exams based on the degree of certification. Certification is maintained by continuing education classes.
